More proof that I'm getting STUPIDER. :-p

Ok, so back in 8th grade I took an IQ test with the rest of the folks in my English class. I scored 150. Shoot - coulda qualified for MENSA back then.

Ten minutes ago, I took an online IQ test... and what did I score? 133. Yes, I have gotten dumber - I don't even think I qualify for MENSA now!!

Doh! I knew I should have stopped when I was ahead!

Thinking back though, I might know what the difference is. In my 8th grade test, there were a lot of logic patterns and visual puzzles, and being the math/logic dork that I am, I scored well. On this online one, there were a bunch of verbal questions about cliches and "common" phrases along with the math and logic questions. Although the correct answers were not revealed to me (I'd have to pay to see that), the brief online report did say I was good at logic questions. Yeah, sure, comparatively speaking... have you ever heard me use "common" phrases?

Sheesh. If this trend of me becoming stupider continues, pretty soon I'll be posting blogs on how you ain't supposed to use math but grammar are useful well. Or how gud speling ez uzfull tuu. And that! punctuation; guides? a reader" to )your point.,.

Oh man. There's not much hope for me now... ;-)
