I'm back - an' I need work!

Um, no, actually I don't. I have enough to do at work. :-p But it's going great! I have an awesome supervisor, fun people to work with, and a real OFFICE. Yes, you heard me - complete with desk, filing cabinet, computer, whiteboard, and phone. And people come in all the time. :-D Government work is such a great environment!

I am adjusting so much better this time around than I did in Philly - thanks so much to those of you who have been keeping in touch and asking me how I'm doing. You will never know what it was like during that first coop - I will never let that intense loneliness plague me like that again. Thank you God for not abandoning me then or now.

Found a golf course! :-D Can't say my game was quite on key; short game absolutely stank. But my drives were pretty. And I love the scenary here! My favorite part is the drive home (albeit later in the evening) because I can turn up the country music (yes, you heard me!) while looking at those beautiful hillsides. What an awesome view!! And the folks are so nice (at least here in Frederick county - they stop talking to you once you hit Montgomery county) - random people smile at you in the mall. It's like Midland except with hills and different accents.

So things are going pretty well - I still have those days when I just want to cry, and I still think of the loss of my grandfather and Vasu. But time and God are easing the pain, and I have been able to count my blessings this week.

Alright, off to bed. Need to be awake for that Friday morning commute! I have already figured out some alternative routes. ;-)
