Stop your whining!

I'm going to warn you - I am NOT in a good mood right now, so if you're in the mood to read something chipper, this is NOT the chipper entry. So stop reading now if you're one of those sensitive types.

I have two issues that I'm extremely annoyed with. First issue has to do with paying attention to OTHER PEOPLE. Like actually reading the text in their e-mails and listening to what they are telling you. Do you think I am e-mailing you some gibberish instructions?? Do you think I am just jibbah-jabbahrin' at you just to take up space in your brain?? NO. If I'm writing or telling you something, it's for a REASON. And if you are supposed to be following my instructions because I was told to give them to you, you had better shut up and listen/read. It really ticks me off when you act like your e-mails and your requests are soooo important and urgent and I jump in to help you right away... and then you turn right around when I have an important or urgent request and completely ignore me. What a load of bull secretion. And that's the nice way of saying it. Guess what - you've played the boy-who-cried-wolf thing too many times. It ain't gonna work on me no more, and sooner or later everyone else will catch on to you too.

The other issue has the same root cause as the first one: SELFISHNESS. This issue has to deal with the fact that some people expect to be invited to EVERYTHING. Guess what? When you're not invited to something, DEAL WITH IT. There's probably a good reason why you weren't invited, and the best thing you can do is accept it. So the host/hostess doesn't like you - who cares? It is THEIR party/event, not yours. You have plenty of other friends - have your own party. No use for you to get all huffy and whiny about not being invited to this one thing. Shoot... I've been uninvited to things before for perfectly good reasons for which I totally respect the host/hostess and his/her withdrawal of the invitation. Stop making yourself and others miserable and uncomfortable for your lack-of-invite. NEWSFLASH: the world will not come to an end just because you weren't invited to something! Get over yourself!

Grrrr....
